Welfare Outreach

In the midst of the resultant hunger and desperation due to the terrible socio-economic effects of Covid19, we carried out a Food and Welfare Outreach in the constituent villages in Nkerefi, Nkanu East Local Government Area, Enugu State, Nigeria on 28th December, 2020.

Peasant villagers, and widows were visited at home, met on the way and at village squares and helped with basic food supply enough to last a week.
Clothing, footwear were distributed and children provided with exercise books, pen etc to help them to study ahead of physical resumption of school.

This outreach, both the food and material aspect benefited over 350 families and widows.
Study and recreational materials were distributed to hundreds of children.
