UCF embarked on a free medical outreach, welfare and female hygiene intervention on 10th July.
The outreach attended to hundreds of community members in Akporo Achara Isuochi in Umunneochi LGA of Abia State.
During this outreach, Ukabuilu Chukwuka identified an indigent villager whose living conditions would draw tears from anyone.
After the outreach, he made up his mind to put all the money he made from a book he wrote to build him a new house.
The house was completed in a month and handed over to the beneficiary; a fully furnished two bedroom apartment with home appliances and a stand by power generator.
This is the first rural housing intervention embarked on by UCF and certainly will not be the last.
The beneficiary, Mr. Samuel Mark could was utterly speechless and still literally thinks he is dreaming.
